Homewood Suites by Hilton Minneapolis-New Brighton

Really nice hotel, stayed for 4 nights -Internet was around 400Mbps (Which is insane for a hotel) -Rooms were really nice, they are renovating the 5th floor right now (as of Jan. 8th 2026) and the rooms were fantastic! -The breakfast here was amazing, seriously the best I've had for a hotel

I stayed here for 21 days, the breakfast was pretty good, the staff is friendly, the pool is open till 11. The rooms are a little dated but that doesn't bother me. However, having hard beds is no fun. They need to update the beds and make them a little more comfortable. Overall I would come back though.

Overall, it's a nice place to stay. We were on the 5th floor, which appears to have just been renovated. Everything looked (and even smelled) brand new. Got a 1 bedroom king suite, which was a bit smaller than expected, but not horrible for a family of 4. The kitchen was well-stocked, even though we didn't use it much. I was pleasantly surprised by their breakfast. It was one of the best free breakfasts I've ever had at a hotel. Tons of options (like chicken carnitas breakfast tacos) and the food was really good. My one and only complaint is that this hotel apparently doesn't have a curfew for hockey kids. We're a hockey family and have traveled regularly for tournaments over the last 6 years, so we're used to the shenanigans. However, we've ALWAYS had a 10pm curfew for our kids, regardless of the team. 99% of the time it's a hotel requirement, and when it's not, our coaches/parents have always set it. Figured it was pretty much the norm (and common sense/ common courtesy). The pool/hot tub area is open until 11 pm, so we purposely waited until a little before 10pm to head down, thinking we'd be able to enjoy a nice, relaxing, QUIET soak before bed. It was totally empty at 9:45pm when we went down to check the situation, so we headed up to get our swimsuits on. We were in the hot tub no more than 10 minutes when 4 kids came in use the pool. They were loud, but not horrible, so we stayed. Within 5-10 minutes, literally the ENTIRE TEAM was in the pool. ZERO PARENTS anywhere and it became too loud to tolerate, so we ended up leaving. It was annoying because my BF had a migraine coming on (part of the reason we headed down to the hot tub), and the noise level made it much worse. Overall, I'd recommend for a Sunday-Wednesday night stay, but would definitely avoid Thursday-Saturday night in case a kids' team is staying there (unless they start enforcing a curfew).

An unexpected gem close to downtown Minneapolis. Great amenities, friendly staff, and only about 15 minutes from downtown. Combined with the very reasonable price, this place is highly recommended.

The room was really great but there needs to be more updated trash cans for residents. Small bins won't do it anymore. People eat out and have families

Very comfortable hotel! close to interstate access and crossroads. Our room was on The interstate side yet heard very little noise from the traffic and no noise from the hallway. Good selection on the continental breakfast, room had small kitchenette with full sized fridge/freezer. Plenty of options for food within 10-15 mins away.

Really nice hotel! Big rooms! Nice breakfast… It would be nicer if it didn’t end at 9 AM, but it’s still pretty decent. Nice little fitness room, beautiful pool, beautiful hot tub. We are here during a blizzard and they’re doing a great job of keeping the sidewalks and parking lots plowed and safe. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

The staff is friendly, biceps breakfast every morning, there was some young children and teenagers running in the halls on Friday or Saturday night, but that happens everywhere. The breakfast cook is nice and friendly, along with the rest of the staff. I only have one complaint, it gets cold outside - they likely cannot do anything about that. I will be back for the breakfast, and then post pictures.
